PM Modi inaugurated 91 FM transmitters, CM Dhami did virtual participation, FM transmitter will also be installed in Uttarkashi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday inaugurated 91 FM transmitters in 18 states and 2 union territories of the country. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami participated in the program virtually from the Chief Minister’s residence. The 91 FM transmitters that were inaugurated include the FM transmitter set up at Uttarkashi.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said after the program that the 91 FM transmitters inaugurated today by Prime Minister Narendra Modi will connect crores of people. This will make it easier for people to connect with various schemes of the government. It is a strong medium to increase connectivity. He said that this will also promote social and cultural connectivity. He said that Uttarkashi being a border district, along with the convenience of the people of the border areas, now a large area will get its benefit due to the facility of FM transmitter.
