Uttarakhand: India Shikhar Youth-20 will be held in Rishikesh, Chief Secretary held a meeting regarding preparations

Chief Secretary Dr. S.S. Youth-20 to be held at AIIMS, Rishikesh on May 05, 2023 under the chairmanship of Sandhu, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, under the chairmanship of G-20, under the chairmanship of India The meeting was organized regarding preparations for the conference. It was told during the meeting that youth from all over the world including all the states of the country will participate in the Y-20 India Summit.

The Chief Secretary said that this conference is being organized in Uttarakhand. It should be seen as an opportunity to present the image of the country and the state to the world. Uttarakhand being a tourism state, we have an opportunity to take the natural and cultural beauty of the state to the country and abroad. He said that proper arrangements should be made to welcome and stay etc. of all the participants. Help desks should be made available to all the participants coming from the country and abroad at the airport, railway station and bus stands, so that they do not face any problem in reaching the venue.

The Chief Secretary instructed the Department of Tourism, Agriculture and Industry to set up stalls of local products during the programme. After the completion of the program, when they leave from here, they should have a good image of the state and its art and culture. Special arrangements should be made to ensure that the participants do not face jam-like situation due to the program being organized in Rishikesh during the Chardham Yatra. He also directed to ensure arrangements for the health and safety of the participants.

On this occasion, Principal Secretary R.K. Sudhanshu, Special Principal Secretary Sports and Youth Welfare Abhinav Kumar, Secretary Dilip Jawalkar, Dr.B.V.R.C. Purushottam, Dr. Pankaj Kumar Pandey, Dipendra Kumar Chaudhary, Additional Secretary C. Ravi Shankar, District Magistrate Dehradun Mrs. Sonika, Senior Superintendent of Police Dalip Singh Kunwar, Vice President MDDA and Director General Information Banshidhar Tiwari and representatives of AIIMS, Rishikesh were present.
