Uttarakhand: Dhami government will bring new employment policy, will give self-employment to more than two lakh

The state government will bring a new employment policy to provide employment to the educated and trained youth of the state. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said, a new employment policy is being discussed in the near future. He said this in a conversation with journalists during the job fair for selected students of technical education held at Chief Minister’s residence on Monday. The Chief Minister handed over appointment letters to 272 candidates of technical education. These candidates of polytechnic colleges have been selected for various companies. The Chief Minister congratulated all the students who received the appointment letters and wished them a bright future. CM said that under the resolution of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, 10 lakh people will be given employment in the next one year. In this sequence, the process of filling the vacant posts is going on in the state as well. The target is to fill all the vacant posts in the coming time. Appointments are being made continuously as per the calendar.

Talking to reporters, the Chief Minister said that agreements are being signed with industrial institutions for campus placement of students of technical and technical institutions. Will take this process further. It is our endeavor that all the students of the state who have completed their education and training in any field should get employment. For this, the government is also considering making a new employment policy in future.

On this occasion, Technical Education Minister Subodh Uniyal said that Rs 300 crore was given in a year for better infrastructure facilities of the polytechnics of the state. Courses have been increased in the state on the basis of their demand after meeting with the industry. 60 percent youths are being selected through employment fairs. Almost 100 percent students are also getting selected from some polytechnic colleges.

Will give more than two lakh self-employment

The Chief Minister said that advertisements are being issued continuously to fill all the vacant posts in government departments. Including direct and indirect self-employment, it will run into lakhs. 18 thousand polyhouses are being given in the horticulture sector alone. In this, more than one lakh people will get self-employment. Under the new tourism policy, more than one lakh people will get employment. Employment opportunities are being increased in other areas. A new city is being set up in Khurpia Forum, in which more than 20 thousand people will get employment.
