Uttarakhand: Rape case filed against Bhartiya Nari Raksha Sena president and his son, police arrested one of the accused

The woman alleged that Suraj Prajapati, the national president of Bhartiya Nari Raksha Sena, a resident of Nivarmandi village, had made her the treasurer of the organization. Last year in June 2022, she stayed at his house for a month at his behest. In the absence of the family, her son Jasveer raped her after feeding her some intoxicant and made an obscene video of her. Threatened to make the obscene video viral on protesting. When the woman complained about this to Jasveer’s father, he also raped her and threatened to kill her if she told anyone. At the same time, after registering a case on the complaint of the victim, the police arrested the accused Jasveer and sent him to jail. Kashipur Superintendent of Police Abhay Singh said that a rape case has been registered on the basis of the woman’s complaint. In which the victim says that she used to work in the organization and she was raped by the son of the director of the organization and when the director was told by her, he also did not take any cognizance, in which the director of the Women’s Defense Force and his son Tahrir was given against. In which the director’s son has been arrested and further action will be taken after investigation.
