Seal on 33 proposals in Uttarakhand cabinet meeting, cabinet agreed on One Time Settlement 2023-24 of Finance Department

Under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, a cabinet meeting was held at the secretariat from 11 am. A total of 33 proposals were discussed in the meeting. A decision has been taken regarding the Sir George Everest House in Mussoorie. At the same time, the Uttarakhand Clinical Establishment Act has been approved in the meeting. Along with this, 245 posts have been approved in the Town and Country Planning Department. Along with this, many other schemes for the development of the state were approved after discussion.

Let us tell you that this is the first cabinet meeting in the month of July. Along with the approval of important proposals, the draft of UCC was also discussed. Let us tell you that the expert committee constituted for UCC has prepared the final draft and soon it will be handed over to the government. Apart from this, the proposal to create a post for the appointment of a Director General for Horticulture and Agriculture Department, proposal for Uttarakhand drone policy, proposal for amendment in electronic waste policy was discussed.

Many important decisions have been taken in the cabinet meeting. Departmental officers including cabinet ministers Satpal Maharaj, Dhan Singh Rawat, Saurabh Bahuguna, Rekha Arya, Ganesh Joshi, Premchandra Agarwal and Subodh Uniyal were present in the meeting. After the cabinet meeting was over, Secretary to Chief Minister, Shailesh Bagoli interacted with the media.

33 proposals were approved in the cabinet meeting

• Under the tourism department, the office in Patel Nagar will be converted into a business hotel and run on PPP mode. In the next 60 years, an income of Rs 247 crore is estimated.
  George Everest proposed to operate Aero Sports in Mussoorie, will operate on PPP mode. Due to which there is a possibility of earning 60 crores.
• Approval was given to the proposal for amendment in the rules of the Transport Department.
  Committee to fill 2364 vacant posts in Class IV cadre in School Education Department.
  The system of free three gas cylinder refills to Antodaya ration card holders was extended for one year.
• Sanction on acceptance of 245 posts in Town and Country Planning Department.
  Approval to keep the Exchange of Electricity Commission in the house.
  In Udham Singh Nagar, the posts of 7 Village Development Officers have been increased, but wages on posting.
• 31 employees of the savings department were adjusted in the collectorate and finance office.
  Cabinet’s consent on One Time Settlement 2023- 24 of the Finance Department.
  The cabinet agreed on 11 posts for the Cash Management Cell created in the Finance Department.
• Uttarakhand Appropriation Act Nirshan 2023 has been approved.
• Approval to set up a bench for the Goods and Services Tax Appellate Authority.
• Amendment made in Uttar Pradesh Uttarakhand Zamindari Destruction Land Act.
• Approval of the land for the widening of the commission market of Dehradun. Arhtiyas will be given land in Brahminwala.
• Uttarakhand Clinical Establishment Act got approval.
