Uttarakhand: CM Dhami grants financial approval of approximately ₹7 crore for various development works

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has granted financial approval of approximately ₹7 crore for various construction projects across the state’s districts, including roads, connecting routes, temple beautification, community facilities, and other infrastructure works. These approvals will facilitate development activities in various areas of Pithoragarh, Champawat, Tehri, Uttarkashi, Almora, and Udham Singh Nagar.
Funds amounting to ₹8.93 lakh have been sanctioned for the construction of the ‘Moti Marg’ entrance gate on the Ancholi-Jakh motor road in the Pithoragarh assembly constituency. Additionally, ₹40.53 lakh has been approved for constructing a connecting road from Selagad to Kotkendri in the Champawat assembly constituency, and ₹52.06 lakh for building an RCC-paved path with railings—stretching from the main road to the ‘Dabra Pani’ hamlet of Bhari Kemar village (Puliya Name Panchayat, Khadikhal)—in the New Tehri assembly constituency.
Approval has been granted for ₹97.09 lakh to undertake various development works at the Dhwaj Jayanti Mata Temple in Pithoragarh, including the construction of accommodation, drinking water facilities, toilets, and pathways for the convenience of devotees. Meanwhile, ₹1.79 crore has been sanctioned for the beautification of the Shri Rudreshwar Maharaj Temple (a revered deity of the Rawain Valley) at Billa Naugaon in the Naugaon development block of the Purola assembly constituency, Uttarkashi.
Funds totaling ₹98.80 lakh have been approved for the beautification of the Malli Manila Temple in the Salt assembly constituency of Almora, and ₹98.50 lakh for the beautification of the Bhimadevi Temple at Bheta-Badoli in the Dhauladevi development block of the Jageshwar assembly constituency.
Approval has been given for ₹2.54 crore for the construction of temples and dharmashalas (pilgrim rest houses) and for pond-related works in Rambagh, Haripura, and Panchananpur within the Gadarpur assembly constituency of Udham Singh Nagar. Furthermore, ₹79.87 lakh has been sanctioned for the construction of a CC (cement concrete) connecting road from Sirad to Naghar Inter College in the Didihat assembly constituency of Pithoragarh. Approval has been granted for the construction of internal roads in Maroli village (Champawat Assembly constituency) and Badpas Gram Panchayat using interlocking tiles. Authorization has also been given to release the first installment of funds in accordance with the prescribed procedures of various schemes.
Statue of Freedom Fighter Kalyan Singh Adhikari to be Installed
The Chief Minister has also approved the allocation of ₹32.49 lakh for the installation of a statue in honor of the late freedom fighter Kalyan Singh Adhikari in the Barakot Development Block of the Lohaghat Assembly constituency in Champawat.
