According to the information, the Uttarakhand cabinet has given green signal to the amendment in the compulsory registration act for marriage. At the same time, Anand marriages prevalent in Sikhism will also be registered under the Act. Let us inform, till now there was no mention of Anand Vivah in the Compulsory Registration Act.
