Uttarakhand: Mahendra Bhatt’s attack on Congress, said – public is neither going to come in his journey nor in his political bluff
Targeting the self-respect journey of the Congress, the BJP said, no matter how many yatras they take out, the public is neither going to come for their yatra nor for their political gimmicks. Along with this, State President Mahendra Bhatt has advised Rahul, Sonia, Priyanka, Kharge to come on Char Dham Yatra before any political trip. Answering the questions of journalists at the party headquarters, Bhatt sarcastically said, “When the Congress starts the yatra and when it ends, it is not known.” The Congress, which conducts many yatras with similar names, is not only confused, but also wants to confuse the public on all those issues, whose solution it is satisfied with by the Dhami government. Congress has become bewildered and issueless by the speed of double engine regarding strict action on the tragic Ankita episode, honest appointment process, best relief package in Joshimath disaster, rejuvenation of Badri Kedar Dham. The people of the state are happy with the works of the government and are angry with the Congress forcefully raising the same issues. This is the reason why common people are missing from their programs and Congress leaders are using indecent, vulgar and derogatory language for a particular society, a particular party and a particular person.
Responding to a question on Rahul Gandhi’s arrival, he said, whether he comes or goes, the people of Uttarakhand have lost faith in him and his party, both politically and morally. Yes, it is necessary that taking inspiration from Modi ji, he should also come to visit the Char Dham of Devbhoomi so that he can contribute in some way or the other in the tourism activities of the state. It is a matter of regret that at present any member of the Gandhi family or any big leader of the Congress has so far taken the time to visit the Char Dham which is known as Sanatan in the world.
Responding to questions asked by the media about the visits of the Congress and the BJP, Bhatt said, the difference is clear that the Congress is on a journey to regain its lost political respect and the BJP should cooperate in the country’s journey for national unity and honoring the martyrs. Advising the Congress, the BJP state president said that instead of just going on a political yatra, they should sometimes participate in patriotic programmes, otherwise it is impossible for them to get the blessings of the nationalist people of the state.
