Uttarakhand / Dehradun: DM’s unique initiative is being appreciated, settlement of pending claims in admission camps, smile on the faces of the complainants

District Magistrate Sonika’s innovative initiative of filing a special camp is being appreciated among the public for speedy disposal of disputes in tehsils. Where there was a sense of despair among the complainants regarding their pending litigation for years, it was seen in the tehsil premises. Today, due to this innovative initiative of the District Magistrate, the sense of appreciation can be clearly seen in all the people. During the camp, along with the memorandum of thanks by the complainants, they were seen wishing the district administration. With this initiative of the District Magistrate, 3822 cases have been settled in Tehsil Sadar, Doiwala and Vikasnagar.

This innovative initiative of District Magistrate Sonika was launched in Tehsil Sadar from August 01, 2023, on the day of Tehsil Day, on the very first day 2225 undisputed filings were dismissed, 50 heritage disposals and 10 other cases pending for years were disposed of. Not only this, the District Magistrate himself reached the Additional Tehsildar Court and got the complaint filed disposed from the concerned table. On the other hand, on August 30, 2023, the District Magistrate organized a special camp in Tehsil Development and settled 1217 revenue cases, in which 1155 cases were dismissed, 3 disputed cases were dismissed, 55 legacy and 04 other cases were disposed of on the spot, increasing the confidence of the administration among the people. . Similarly, on August 08, a special camp was organized in Tehsil Sadar and Tehsil Doiwala. While participating in Tehsil Sadar, the District Magistrate listened to the grievances of the people and got them resolved. In which 770 cases were settled in Tehsil Sadar, including 610 undisputed admissions rejected and 150 legacy and 10 disputed cases. In Tehsil Doiwala, 525 cases of rejected section 34 undisputed and 3 disputed cases were settled. Under section 33A, 71 cases were settled in the camp for registration of heirs of deceased landowners. In the special camp, 2 cases under section 33/39 and 14 cases under section 23 were disposed of by taking rectification action. The District Magistrate should solve the problems of the officers and employees by listening to them seriously while behaving sweetly with the public.
