Uttarakhand / Pauri : The handicapped child was safely recovered and handed over to the relatives by the Operation Smile team of the district.
“Operation Smile” campaign is being run from 15.09.2021 to search the missing from Police Headquarters. Under which the Operation Smile team of the district has been directed by the Senior Superintendent of Police, Madam Pauri Garhwal District, P. Renuka Devi, to search for the missing. In order to which the Operation Smile team of the district went to Shri Sathya Sai, Ashram, Dehradun and interacted with the employee accountant/counsellor of the organization Shri Arun Kumar Kukreti after giving a sense of belongingness to the handicapped child Nikhil Saini. The team did not get information regarding the correct name and address of the child. After that, by the “Operation Smile” team of the district, to find out the correct name and address of the said child, * with the help of the organization, the child was taken to the Aadhar center. Fingerprints of the child were taken, then Nikhil Saini son of the child from the Aadhar card. Anil Saini resident village Khushalipur Kalan, Thana Viharigarh, Saharanpur (Uttar Pradesh) Information was received. After which Deputy Inspector (V-Range) Kripal Singh appealed to his friend Shri Giani Hardayal Singh who lives near Viharigarh to send the photo and address of the child on his WhatsApp to the boy’s village and talk to the family members. Thereafter Shri Hardayal Singh went to the boy’s village, where the boy’s uncle Shri Jyotiram was talked to and the photo of the child was shown. After recognizing the photo of the child, it was told by him that the child is retarded, who was missing for the last four years. Which we searched a lot but did not find. The name of the father of the child is Anil, who died of cancer long ago. And his mother got married for the second time. The boy has two sisters and the younger brother lives with us. By the Operation Smile team of the district, the said child’s tau ji and family members were called to Sri Satya Sai, Ashram, Dehradun and the child was handed over to them safely. The noble work done by the district police was expressed by the family members of the child and the local public by expressing their gratitude to the Uttarakhand Police.
