Today, on the death anniversary of former Prime Minister of India Atal Bihari Vajpayee, all the senior leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party including President Draupadi Murmu, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar and Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid tribute. On this occasion, there was always a steady stream of National Democratic Alliance (NDA) leaders at Atal at his Samadhi site. After paying tribute to Vajpayee, Union Minister Anupriya Patel said, “The opposition is frustrated and disappointed and they know that even in 2024, the people of the country will not trust them and there is no possibility of their return to power, hence the frustrated opposition is is also speaking but the people of the country have full faith in the leadership of PM Modi and NDA will score a hat-trick in 2024.”
At the ‘Always Atal’ memorial, Union Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal said, “Many people came here to pay homage. Our NDA colleagues also came here in large numbers because his personality was very great.”
