CJI DY Chandrachud reached SC with daughters, showed how work is done in court

At around 10 am in the Supreme Court, everyone was surprised when CJI DY Chandrachud reached the Supreme Court with his two disabled daughters. CJI Chandrachud has adopted him. CJI Chandrachud brought Mahi (16) and Priyanka (20) to the Supreme Court along with him. After this, they took them from outside from where lawyers and litigants go to court number one. Then both of them were brought to the CJI Court Room No. 1 on a wheel chair and shown how the work is done in the court.

He showed both the daughters where they sit as judges and where the lawyers argue. He also explained how the functioning of the court is done. The CJI took both of them to his chamber and also showed them the chamber.

According to top sources of the Supreme Court, both the daughters had been saying for some time that they wanted to see the Supreme Court. That’s why the CJI told both of them that let’s go to court today. However, due to winter, the CJI did not take both of them to the Supreme Court much and then sent them back after some time.
