‘Killed your lion son’, Kabaddi player cut with swords outside his home in Punjab

A 22 year old Kabaddi player has been murdered in Kapurthala district of Punjab. The accused attacked the player with swords and then took him outside the house in an injured state. There the player’s father opened the door and said that your lion son has been killed. Police say that the Kabaddi player was having a dispute with the accused. Police have arrested two accused in this case.

The incident took place in Dhilwan area. Kapurthala Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Rajpal Singh Sandhu said that the incident was carried out by six accused. Police teams conducted raids and arrested two of them. Due to personal enmity, Hardeep Singh was murdered with swords and other weapons on Wednesday night.

‘5-6 people came to the house and said – killed your son’

SSP said that the remaining accused will be caught soon. Police have registered a case in the police station. Hardeep’s father Guram Singh said in the complaint that on Wednesday, five to six people came to their house and knocked the door and shouted that we have killed your son.

Complainant said, when he opened the door, he found his son severely injured. He took Jalandhar’s Civil Hospital, where doctors declared dead. ‘Shiromani Akali Dal (Shid), Chairman of Shiromani Akali Dal (Shaid), is a hoard of the Aam Aadmi Party on this incident.
