A case of clash has come to light between a doctor posted at Munger Sadar Hospital in Bihar and a Munger BJP MLA. Both have made serious allegations against each other. The doctor says that the MLA entered the ward and caught hold of his collar. Also strangulated and abused. At the same time, the MLA has denied the matter of assault and has accused the doctor of misbehavior.
The matter pertains to the emergency ward of Munger Sadar Hospital. The ward became an arena when angry Munger BJP MLA Pranav Kumar clashed with the doctor on duty, Kumar Sanu, over some issue. Due to this, there was an atmosphere of chaos in the ward for about an hour. The MLA and the doctor have made serious allegations against each other.

‘After some time the MLA’s car stopped in front of the ward’
Doctor Sanu says that a patient, who was a case of neuro, was referred to him. Meanwhile, the patient’s family members said that they should talk to the MLA. On this he said that he is not authorized to talk. After this, when the family asked his name, he replied that what to do with the name.
Take the patient to the higher centre. After this they went away. After some time, the car of Munger MLA came and stopped in front of the ward. After getting down from the car, the MLA abused and grabbed his collar as soon as he entered the ward. Due to this his throat started getting choked. The MLA used indecency for a long time.
When I wanted to talk to the doctor, he misbehaved
After this he informed the Civil Surgeon, DS and the police station. The doctor says that he said that firing incidents and murders keep happening in Munger every day. He has threatened to kill. Because of this I am feeling scared. It is possible that one of the MLA’s men might pick him up and kill him. The department should be transferred from Munger, otherwise I will resign from the job.
In this case, the BJP MLA said that when he wanted to talk to the doctor for medical advice regarding a patient, he did not talk to him nor did he reveal his name. After this Sadar reached the hospital and wanted to talk to the doctor. He behaved very rudely on this. There has been no incident of assault with the doctor.
‘Action will be taken upon receipt of complaint’
An eyewitness says that this kind of behavior of the MLA is not justified at all. The manner in which the MLA grabbed the doctor’s collar is also not justified. In this matter, CS PM Sahay said that the matter will be investigated. Action will be taken after taking information from both the parties. The doctor has not yet given any written complaint. On receiving the complaint, action will be taken on the basis of CCTV footage.
