CM Dhami’s gift to the youth in Uttarakhand Youth Mahotsav-2023, Rojgar Prayag portal and ‘Yuva Uttarakhand App’ launched

With the aim of making employment opportunities available on a single portal in Uttarakhand, the government has developed Rozgar Prayag Portal for the youth. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami launched the Rojgar Prayag Portal in the Uttarakhand Youth Mahotsav-2023 program organized in Dehradun.

On this occasion, the Chief Minister also provided appointment letters to 17 candidates selected through employment fairs and also visited the exhibitions organized by various departments. Along with this, ‘Yuva Uttarakhand App’ was launched and self-employment centers were also inaugurated in employment offices. Yuva Uttarakhand App has been developed by ITDA to make the schemes run by various departments available at one place.

Along with digital information, it was announced by the Chief Minister to develop employment centers in employment offices in all the districts for the youth to get more information and applications related to the schemes. In the first phase of the announcement, the Chief Minister launched self-employment offices in the employment offices of Dehradun and Udham Singh Nagar.

An MoU was signed between the Skill Development and Employment Department and IIT Roorkee in the presence of the Chief Minister in the Uttarakhand Youth Mahotsav-2023 program. This MoU is to utilize the technical expertise of IIT Roorkee for the development of skill capacity of the state’s manpower. to be done. In the first phase, technical support will be provided by the Incubator Center of IIT Roorkee for high level upskilling of the labor force working in the construction sector. Students studying in higher technical institutions of the state will be given training related to digital skills by Microsoft. Microsoft will also provide technical support in digital training to the deprived groups of the society. On this occasion, Learnet Skills Pvt. MoUs were signed with Envertz Consultancy to employ nursing trainees from the state as nurses in England and Ireland and with Generise Global to employ them as nurses in Germany. On this occasion, Dhami said that today while Rozgar Prayag Portal and Yuva Uttarakhand App have been launched for the youth, an MoU has also been signed to get technical support from IIT Roorkee and Microsoft.

While the Rozgar Prayag portal will simplify the information and application process for the posts to be filled through outsourcing in various government departments, the youth will also be able to get information about the outsourcing posts in various departments through this portal.

He said that the government has worked to secure the future of the youth by implementing anti-copying law and taking strict action against the culprits involved in recruitment scams. Many efforts have been made by the state government in the direction of employment and self-employment. The Chief Minister said that in the last 15 days he has handed over appointment letters to about one thousand candidates.

The Chief Minister said that along with employment and self-employment for the youth, sports culture is also being encouraged in the state. For this, while on one hand a new sports policy has been brought, on the other hand sports quota in jobs has also been reintroduced. Presently sports scholarship is being given under “Mukhyamantri Udyyaman Khiladi Unnayan Yojana”. The government is fully committed to the progress of its youth.
