Migrated players ready to return home, will increase the value of National Games Uttarakhand

National Games are going to be held in Uttarakhand for the first time in the new year 2024. The special thing is that in order to include the state in the top 10 states in the medal table in these games, many players playing from other states are ready to return to their state Uttarakhand.
According to DK Singh, General Secretary of Uttarakhand Olympic Association, the association has written a letter to all the sports associations asking them to contact the players playing from other states of the state within 15 days. Some players have given their consent to this. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has given the Sports Department the target of including Uttarakhand in the top 10 states in the National Games to be held next year. After which, exercises for this have been started by the Sports Department and Sports Associations.
Players from Uttarakhand, who were playing in other states after migrating from the state, are being invited to play in the state. According to DK Singh, General Secretary of Uttarakhand Olympic Association, it is getting a good response. Some players of the state playing from other states are ready to return to their state Uttarakhand. Pawan Barthwal and Kapil Pokharia, originally from Uttarakhand, who are playing services in boxing, have agreed to play from Uttarakhand.
Players gave their consent
Boxing player Himanshu Negi playing from Goa, Judo player Shubham playing from BSF and Sikha playing volleyball from CRPF, athlete Ankita Dhyani are also ready to play from their state in the National Games to be held this year. Some other sports associations have also talked to the players of the state in this regard. The players have given their consent on this. After getting the consent of the players playing from outside the state, irrespective of their state, a list of them will be prepared and training camps will be organized for them before the National Games.
The question is related to the reputation of the players of the state
Sports department officials and sports associations say that earlier there were no better facilities for the players in the state, which is why many players migrated. But now there are all kinds of facilities. There is a provision for direct government jobs for players who bring medals in the National Games. Getting medals for the state in national games is a question related to the prestige of the players of the state.
Lakshya, Bodhit and Chirag will also play from Uttarakhand
Commonwealth Games gold medalist Lakshya Sen is originally a resident of Almora district. According to DK Singh, General Secretary of Uttarakhand Olympic Association, Lakshya Sen has agreed to play from Uttarakhand. Apart from this, Bodhit Joshi, who plays from Railways, and Chirag Sen, resident of Almora, will also play from Uttarakhand.
The sports department is ready to provide all possible facilities to the players to include the state in the top 10 in the medal table. Sports grounds, sports trainers and all other necessary facilities will be provided.
