Actress Ameesha Patel trapped in embezzlement case gets relief, gets anticipatory bail from court

Actress Ameesha Patel, trapped in a six-year-old case, has got a big relief. The District Judge’s Court on Friday approved the anticipatory bail of the actress after hearing the embezzlement case. The next hearing in the case will be held on February 6 in the ACJM court. Trial will start in this case. Film actress Ameesha Patel is accused of not performing programs after taking money. Pawan Kumar Verma, owner of Dream Vision Event Company, had filed a complaint in the court against Ameesha Patel and others. It is alleged that on 16 November 2017, he was called for a dance program in the wedding ceremony. For this, a total of Rs 11 lakh was given to Ameesha Patel as advance.
It is alleged that he did not participate in the program even after taking the money. This amount was given by Ameesha Patel’s PA Suresh Parmar and Ahmed Sharif through PR company owner Rajkumar Goswami. After this Ameesha Patel demanded another Rs 2 lakh. Because of this a case of embezzlement was registered against him. The hearing of the case is going on in ACJM II court. Due to non-appearance of Ameesha Patel, the court also issued bailable warrant against her on 11 February 2019. Meanwhile, on the basis of bailable warrant, Ameesha Patel reached the chamber of her advocate Abhishek Sharma in Moradabad court last week and the papers for anticipatory bail were prepared.
The anticipatory bail application was heard in the court of District Judge Dr. Ajay Kumar on Friday. Actress’s advocate Abhishek Kumar Sharma said that the actress’s forms were filed for bail. Badi’s lawyer lit a protest. According to DGC Nitin Gupta and ADGC Sanjeev Aggarwal, after hearing the arguments of both the parties on the anticipatory bail application filed by Ameesha Patel, the court has accepted the anticipatory bail, while the actress’s advocate says that ACJM will be heard on February 6 in the complaint case. There will be a hearing in the court. Trial will start in this case.
