BJP released the first list of 195 candidates, PM Modi will contest elections from Banaras, read the names of 195 candidates
Before the announcement of Lok Sabha election dates, BJP has released the first list of candidates. Names of more than 100 candidates have been declared in this list. The names of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh are also included in the first list. PM Modi will contest elections from Varanasi. The names of 34 Union Ministers and Ministers of State are in the first list. Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla’s name is also in this list. 34 Union Ministers, Lok Sabha Speaker, two former Chief Ministers, 28 women have found place in the first list. 47 candidates below 50 years of age are in this list.
Big things in BJP’s first list
In the first list of BJP candidates, there are 27 candidates from SC, 18 from ST and 57 from OBC. In this, 51 candidates from UP, 20 from Bengal, 24 from MP, 15 from Gujarat, 15 from Rajasthan, 12 from Kerala, 9 from Telangana, 11 from Assam, 11 from Jharkhand, 11 from Chhattisgarh have got tickets. Names have been announced for 5 seats from Delhi, Jammu Kashmir 2, Uttarakhand 3, Goa 1, Tripura 1, Andaman and Nicobar 1, Daman Diu 1 seat. Rajeev Chandrashekhar has been given the ticket in front of Shashi Tharoor in Kerala.
