Faces finalized for 3 Lok Sabha seats of Uttarakhand, names declared from Almora-Tehri-Nainital, trust only on old faces
BJP has started preparations for the Lok Sabha elections 2024. In this series, BJP has also released the first list of Lok Sabha candidates. In this list, BJP high command has finalized names for three Lok Sabha seats of Uttarakhand. Among these three Lok Sabha seats, names have been finalized for Almora, Tehri and Nainital Lok Sabha seats. In all the three Lok Sabha seats, BJP has expressed confidence only in the old faces.
Let us tell you that there are five Lok Sabha seats in Uttarakhand. BJP is in control of these five Lok Sabha seats. In which Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank is the MP from Haridwar Lok Sabha seat. Who was given the responsibility of Union Education Minister in Modi 2.0 government, but citing health reasons, he resigned from the post of Union Education Minister. A decision has not been taken yet on this seat. The second Lok Sabha seat is Nainital Udham Singh Nagar seat. Ajay Bhatt is the MP from here. Ajay Bhatt is currently the Union Minister of State for Defense in the Modi government. This time also BJP has expressed confidence in Ajay Bhatt. This time too he has been fielded from Nainital Lok Sabha seat.
The third Lok Sabha seat is Pauri Garhwal. From which Tirath Singh Rawat is the MP. Tirath Singh Rawat was made the Chief Minister of Uttarakhand during his tenure as MP, but due to political reasons, he was removed from the post and Pushkar Singh Dhami was made the Chief Minister. There is a situation of dilemma on this seat also. No decision has been taken on this either.
Tehri Lok Sabha is the fourth Lok Sabha seat. Mala Rajyalakshmi Shah is the MP from here. Mala Rajyalakshmi Shah has been an MP from here for a long time. BJP has also repeated them. Almora is the fifth Pithoragarh Lok Sabha seat. Ajay Tamta is MP from here. Ajay Tamta has become MP from this seat for the second time. In the first term, he was the Minister of State for Textiles in the Modi government. This time once again BJP has fielded Ajay Tamta in the election field.
