Uttarakhand: Head constable Rajeev Rana dies suddenly, bid farewell with state honours

Bad news is coming out from the police department. Head constable Rajeev Rana, posted at Kotwali Nagar police station, died late night on the occasion of Holi. After which there is a wave of mourning in the police administration. SSP Ajay Singh has expressed deep grief over the sudden demise of the late head constable.

According to the information given by the police, due to sudden ill health of Head Constable Rajeev Rana, he was admitted to the hospital by his family members. Where he died during treatment. Deceased Rajiv Rana had joined the police department on the post of constable in the year 2001. Who was promoted to the post of Head Constable in the year 2023. Let us tell you that late Rajiv Rana was originally a resident of Haridwar. Presently he was living in Raipur area with his wife and children.

Last farewell given with state honors
On Tuesday, the mortal remains of deceased Rajiv Rana were given the last salute with full state honors at his residence. SSP Dehradun Ajay Singh paid his tribute to late Rajeev Rana by offering flowers on his mortal remains. Expressing deep grief over his sudden demise, the SSP consoled his family and assured that the police family stands with them at every step in this hour of grief.
