NASA is preparing to run SUV on Moon and Mars, made a special plan, astronauts will reach every corner

US space agency NASA has selected three companies – Intuitive Machines, Lunar Outpost and Venturi Astrolabe – to develop the Lunar Terrain Vehicle (LTV). NASA said that this vehicle will help in conducting scientific research during the preparation of the agency’s Artemis campaign on the Moon and human mission to Mars. “We look forward to the development of the Artemis generation Lunar Exploration Vehicle to explore the Moon,” said Vanessa Wyche, director of NASA’s Johnson Space Center in Houston.

“This vehicle will greatly enhance the ability of our astronauts to detect and explore the lunar surface, and will also serve as a platform between crewed missions,” Wyche said. NASA aims to begin using LTV for crew operations during Artemis V. Between Artemis missions, when crews are not on the Moon, LTVs will serve remotely as NASA scientific support as needed.

“We will use the LTV to travel to locations we otherwise wouldn’t be able to reach, enhancing our ability to explore and make discoveries,” said Jacob Bleacher, chief exploration scientist at NASA Headquarters in Washington. Through Artemis, NASA will send astronauts to explore the Moon. NASA has taken this step at a time when China and Russia have intensified their preparations for conquering everything from the Moon to Mars. China has planned to send several of its missions. China has recently sent one of its vehicles to the moon. Its rover is already active on the lunar surface.
