Governor released the book “Sarvasvadani Jannayak Guru Gobind Singh”, based on the life of Guru Gobind Singh
Governor Lieutenant General Gurmeet Singh (Retd) released the book “Sarvasvadani Jannayak Guru Gobind Singh” published by Uttarakhand Sanskrit University on the biography of Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji at Raj Bhavan on Saturday. On this occasion, the Governor said that it is a wonderful coincidence that we are releasing this book on the auspicious occasion of Baisakhi.

Governor Lieutenant General Gurmeet Singh (Retd) said that Guru Gobind Singh, with his talent and foresight, gave a new direction to the society and protected human interests. The personality of Guru Gobind Singh is like the light of the sun, who with his personality had brought smile on the faces of millions of people who were withered, disappointed and disappointed for centuries.

The Governor said that Guru Gobind Singh faced injustice and oppression fearlessly and provided a new direction to the society. The Governor said that he has set an example of unique sacrificial tradition for the nation, religion and his culture, which has no parallel. He sacrificed his entire family to protect religion. The Governor said that Guru Gobind Singh ji always gave the message of love, morality and brotherhood. He was a great social reformer who stood firm against injustice and oppression.

The Governor said that writing a book on the biography of such a great social reformer is highly praiseworthy. He said that it should be our endeavor to reach the message of Guru Gobind Singh Ji to every humanity through this book. The Governor congratulated the research conducted by the Shri Guru Gobind Singh Research Chair established in the University for converting it into a book.
He thanked the Vice Chancellor of Sanskrit University, Dr. Dineshchandra Shastri and the author of this book, Dr. Ajay Parmar, Coordinator Shri Guru Gobind Singh Shodh Peeth Sanskrit University for this compilation. He expressed confidence that this book will help in adopting the path taught by Sri Guru Gobind Singh and give a new direction to the society.
