The incident happened on Friday. Terror of monkeys is being seen in the wall of Chamoli. A 7th class child going to school here was injured by a monkey. After which there is an atmosphere of panic among the villagers. According to the information, parent Surendra Singh Bisht told that Ankit had left his home for school.

After going some distance, the monkey pounced on him and cut off his leg. Hearing the noise, people saved Ankit from the monkeys. After the incident, there is anger among the singers against the forest department. The villagers have demanded the forest department to catch the monkeys as soon as possible.
