Giving instructions to take strict legal action against those spreading false propaganda about Chardham Yatra and making fake news or videos in relation to the Yatra, during the review of Chardham Yatra management in the Secretariat, Chief Secretary Smt. Radha Raturi has made it clear that those who make fake news or videos will be banned. An FIR will be lodged immediately against those elements who defame the Yatra through this medium. Taking a strict stance on the operation of buses and vehicles without registration and trip cards or post-dated registration on the route, CS Smt. Raturi has given instructions to immediately stop such unregistered buses and vehicles and send them back. Along with this, the Chief Secretary has directed the Transport Department to hold a meeting with tour operators on the issue of vehicles without registration, without trip card or post dated registration. Appropriate action will be taken by marking unregistered vehicles at check points established at various places. In this regard, a letter will also be sent by the Chief Secretary to the Chief Secretaries and Director Generals of Police of other states.

In order to provide prompt redressal to the problems of devotees on the spot, Chief Secretary Mrs. Radha Raturi has issued instructions to the officials to take immediate appropriate action on any complaint of any devotee received on her mobile. He has issued strict instructions to the concerned officials to keep their mobiles open 24 hours and to compulsorily listen to the complaints related to travel.

Clarifying the position of the in-charge secretaries posted in the districts for efficient management of Chardham Yatra, CS Mrs. Raturi has said that the in-charge secretary will regularly monitor the yatra from the secretariat itself through the district administration and district magistrate etc. and the secretariat and district Effective coordination among the administration will be ensured.

In view of the excellent crowd management in the Dhams and traffic management on the Yatra route, CS Mrs. Radha Raturi gave instructions to ensure all necessary facilities like drinking water, toilets and food etc. and arrangements for live telecast of the Dhams at the holding places established at various places for the convenience of the devotees on the Yatra route. Have given. The Chief Secretary has especially given instructions to Rishikesh Municipal Corporation to make immediate arrangements for the best facilities for the passengers at its holding place.

Taking seriously the cases of some devotees coming on Chardham Yatra not giving information about their medical history during registration or giving wrong information, Chief Secretary Smt. Radha Raturi has instructed the Health Department to strictly follow the rules. He has given strict instructions to pay special focus on health screening of passengers above 50 years of age. Secretary Health informed that this time 184 doctors have been deployed on the Yatra route. There are 44 specialist doctors among them. This time cath lab has been started in Srinagar Medical College. Travel related SOP has been issued in a total of 11 languages. The Health Department is providing various facilities to the devotees including health check-up.

Director General of Police Abhinav Kumar, Principal Secretary RK Sudhanshu, Commissioner Garhwal Vinay Shankar Pandey, Secretary Arvind Singh Hayanki, Sachin Kurve, Dilip Jawalkar and other officers were present in the meeting.
