Uttarakhand / Dehradun: The miscreants entered the businessman’s house posing as Crime Branch officers, held the family hostage and looted the house

In Khushalpur of Sahaspur police station area in Vikasnagar, Dehradun, four unknown miscreants held the businessman’s family hostage at gunpoint. After this, the miscreants looted money and jewellery worth lakhs and fled with a scooty. The miscreants had introduced themselves as officers of the Crime Branch. The four accused were caught on CCTV cameras while fleeing on the businessman’s scooty. The police station is searching for the accused.
According to the information, on Wednesday night at around 1.30 am, four miscreants entered the house of businessman Furkan Ahmed in Khushalpur through the roof. During this time, Furkan, his wife, nephew, niece and two daughters were sleeping in the veranda. All the miscreants showed guns and took all the family members inside a room of the house except two small children.
The miscreants introduced themselves as officers of the Crime Branch and started threatening Furkan by calling him a drug dealer and a criminal. They said that your daily income is 50 thousand. It is reported that there are jewellery and cash worth lakhs in your house. The miscreants also tore the mattress and sofa seats.
The miscreants tied the hands of everyone except Furkan’s wife. After that, threatening to kill the small children, they asked Furkan’s wife to go to the room where the safe was kept. After opening the safe, the miscreants took out cash and jewellery worth around 80 thousand rupees from it. After that, they closed the door of the room and fled with Furkan Ahmed’s scooter. On receiving information about the robbery, SP Rural Lokjeet Singh, CO Vikasnagar Bhaskar Lal Shah and police station reached the spot. The victim businessman has given a complaint of robbery to the police. Police station is engaged in searching for the accused.
