Uttarakhand / Dehradun: Three accused involved in the firing at Doval Chowk have been arrested, there was a dispute over asking for the vehicle back
Police has taken three persons into custody in the firing incident that took place last night at Dobhal Chowk. It is being told that there was a dispute between two parties regarding demanding the vehicle back. Let us tell you that one person died in the firing incident. While two persons are injured. Police is raiding to arrest other accused involved in the incident.
Three accused involved in firing arrested
Giving information about the case, SSP Dehradun said that on the night of June 16, the police received information about firing at Dobhal Chowk. By the time the police reached the spot after getting the information, the persons who carried out the incident had fled in a car. Taking cognizance of the matter, the SSP directed for intensive checking in the district.
Search for absconding accused continues
In view of the intensive checking by the police, both the accused who fled from the vehicle after committing the incident left the said vehicle ahead of Asharodi barrier and fled into the forest, for whose search the intensive checking campaign is going on by the police. Police has taken Sonu Bhardwaj, Monu Sharma and Shambhu involved in the incident into custody.
There was a dispute when the vehicle was asked back
During interrogation of the injured, they told that Devendra Kumar alias Sonu Bhardwaj son of Inder Kumar Sharma and Monu Bhardwaj son of Inder Kumar Sharma resident of Raipur were doing money lending business. Ramveer resident of Muzaffarnagar, Yogesh resident of Meerut, Manish resident of Patna were staying in his house for some days.
According to the information given by the police, several cases of murder are registered against Ramveer. His another friend Ankush resident of Shivlok Colony was also with him. The four persons used to come to Sonu Bhardwaj’s house from time to time. On Saturday, Sagar Yadav son of Dinesh Yadav resident of Nehru village had mortgaged a vehicle Tata Storm near Sonu’s house for Rs. 4.25 lakh.
The vehicle was mortgaged without the consent of the vehicle owner
The owner of the vehicle was Deepak Badola, without whose consent Sonu had mortgaged the vehicle. When Deepak Badola came to know about this, he asked Sagar Yadav for his vehicle, but Shambhu Yadav abused Deepak Badola and threatened him not to return the vehicle. On which Deepak contacted Sonu Bhardwaj to ask for his vehicle back, but Sonu also refused to give the vehicle.
Deepak told all this to his acquaintances Subhash Chhetri, Manoj Negi and others and on Saturday night, along with Deepak, Sanjay Chhetri and Manoj Negi, he went to Sonu Bhardwaj’s house to ask for his vehicle back. Near the house, Sonu, Monu, Ramveer, Manish, Ankush, Yogesh fired at them and seriously injured Subhash Chhetri, Manoj Negi and Deepak.
After which Subhash Chhetri was taken to the hospital by his family. Along with this, Manoj Negi was sent to the district hospital by the police for treatment. The body of the third injured Deepak Badola was found lying in the drain near Dobhal Chowk on Monday morning. The police took the body of the deceased into custody and sent it for post-mortem.
