Rain continues in Uttarakhand from mountains to plains. Meteorologists have issued rain warning for nine districts of Uttarakhand. Along with this, there is a possibility of landslides in the hilly areas.

According to Vikram Singh, Director of Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of heavy rain at some places in Nainital, Bageshwar, Almora, Pithoragarh, Champawat, Udham Singh Nagar, Pauri, Chamoli and Rudraprayag districts. Apart from this, there is a possibility of lightning with thunder at some places.
River water level increased to the ghats in Rishikesh
At the same time, due to continuous rain in the hilly areas, the water level of all the rivers has increased a lot. In Rishikesh, the SDRF team is constantly alerting all the pilgrims to move away from the ghats.
