Uttarakhand: Kanwadis created ruckus in Haridwar… beat up the inspector posted on duty, dispute over dancing in front of DJ
Incidents of ruckus by Kanwariyas are being seen every day under Bahadarabad police station area. The situation is such that a sub-inspector posted on duty was also beaten up by Kanwariyas near the toll late on Thursday night. Sub-inspector Sudhanshu Kaushik posted in Bahadarabad police station, along with the force, asked the crowd dancing in front of the DJ near the toll plaza late at night to move away.
The traffic system was getting affected by the crowd. During this, the crowd was instigated by the Kanwariyas who came with the DJ. Meanwhile, the Kanwariyas who came with the DJ attacked the sub-inspector with sticks. Due to which he also got injured.
On this occasion, the mobile of ASP Sadar’s gunner Satish was snatched. Due to which there was a jam for several kilometers on both sides of the toll. At the same time, the police force along with senior officials who arrived late at night pacified the matter. Police station in-charge Naresh Rathore said that action will be taken against the people who created ruckus, beat up and looted the mobile.
