There is a hospital in West Bengal where patients admitted for treatment are continuously disappearing. The hospital administration is turning a blind eye. This number of missing patients is increasing day by day. In just 7 days, 121 patients disappeared from the hospital. We are talking about Medinipur Hospital in West Medinipur of the state. According to the data of absconding patients, 121 patients have disappeared from Medinipur Medical College Hospital in the last 7 days. 20 patients disappeared on Monday alone.
Questions raised on the security system of the hospital
It is being told that most of the missing patients were being treated in the Male Medicine Emergency Department of Medinipur Medical Hospital. The increasing number of missing patients has raised questions on the security system of the hospital. Dilip Kumar Palmal, the in-charge facility manager of the hospital, accepted the incident of disappearance of patients. However, he also said that a committee has already been formed regarding this incident. We hope that its number will be completely reduced in August.

In the last 8 days, the number of missing patients from Medinipur Medical College Hospital has increased to 130. Trinamool Congress district president Sujoy Hazra said that the administration should look into the whole matter as to why the patients are running away.
