Now the families of martyrs in Uttarakhand will get Rs 60 lakh, Sainik organizations expressed gratitude to CM and Sainik Welfare Minister

Ex-servicemen organizations organized a felicitation ceremony at the camp office of Sainik Welfare Minister Ganesh Joshi located at New Cantt Road in the district regarding the announcements made for the welfare of the dependents of soldiers. Actually, the amount of Rs 10 lakh given to the families of the martyrs has been increased to 50 lakhs. In this, an additional 10 lakh will also be given through Sainik Rehabilitation Institute. That is, a total of 60 lakh rupees will be given to the families of the martyrs.

Soldier Welfare Minister Ganesh Joshi said that this demand was being made by the ex-servicemen for a long time. After which, on my request, this big announcement was made by Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami in the interest of the state and the military. He said that the amount given to the families of the martyrs has been increased from 10 lakh to 50 lakhs. Also, the martyrs will get an additional 10 lakh through Sainik Rehabilitation Institute. Apart from this, a provision has also been made to provide financial assistance of 10 thousand for respectable last rites at the time of death of the ex-serviceman.

Gratitude program to be organized on August 11

Ganesh Joshi said that if I was not a soldier in the army, I would not have been an MLA and a minister. Being a soldier, I can understand the pain of soldiers and whenever I go to the program of soldiers, I feel as if I am among my family. He said that on August 11, a program will be organized by the ex-servicemen to honor and thank Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami.
