‘Swachhata Hi Seva-2024’ program is being celebrated in Uttarakhand on PM Modi’s 74th birthday, CM Dhami administered the oath
Today the 74th birthday of the country’s PM Narendra Modi is being celebrated. On his 74th birthday, PM Modi will inaugurate 26 lakh PM Awas houses in Gadakna, Bhubaneswar, the capital of Odisha, and will also launch the Subhadra Yojana. Meanwhile, ‘Swachhata Hi Seva-2024’ program is organized across the country on PM Modi’s birthday.

Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami reached the ‘Swachhata Hi Seva-2024’ program in Dehradun. He administered the oath of Swachh Bharat to the people. On this occasion, Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami said, ‘On behalf of the people of Uttarakhand, I extend my heartfelt best wishes to PM Modi on his birthday. I wish him a long life. Under his leadership, the country has made a lot of progress and will continue to do so.’
Swachhta Hi Seva-2024
It is worth noting that Narendra Modi started the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan on 2 October 2014 when he became the Prime Minister of India for the first time in 2014. Since then, the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan runs from time to time. This time the ‘Swachhta Hi Seva-2024’ program will run till October 2. Public participation in cleanliness, total cleanliness and Safai Mitra Suraksha camps are being organized in the campaign. The objective of the program is cleanliness in nature and cleanliness in sanskar. It has been said that cleanliness and purity are close to divinity.
Black spots of garbage will be identified
During the program, all the traditional and challenging garbage sites (black spots) of all the districts of Uttarakhand will be identified. These places will be cleaned through collective labor. Information about this will be obtained from the Gram Panchayat level and development block level and photographs will be uploaded online on the website. By selecting rural and urban local bodies and public undertakings, dirty sites as cleanliness target units, the campaign will be run continuously till October 1, 2024.
