Administration’s bulldozer roared in Uttarakhand, illegal encroachments removed; Preparations underway to take action against 151 more houses

The police administration has started preparations to remove encroachment in the Puchdi reserved forest area. Survey and demolition action will be taken after Dussehra. In this regard, a meeting was held in the presence of SDM Rahul Shah in the office of Terai Western Forest Division on Wednesday. In which the outline of the demolition action was decided.
People are encroaching in the Puchdi reserved forest area in Ramnagar range under Terai Western Forest Division. The forest department has already identified the encroachers and issued eviction orders by giving them notice. Right now the forest department has identified 151 encroachments for demolition.
House-to-house survey will be done
SDM Rahul Shah and DFO Prakash Chandra Arya held a joint meeting and discussed to make the necessary framework. It was decided that house-to-house survey of 151 encroachers will be done. It will be investigated how many people are there in the family, since when are they living there. Who are the people living there. After gathering information about the encroachers, demolition action will be taken.
