Dehradun police has busted an interstate human trafficking gang. The accused had brought three girls from Delhi to Dehradun to sell them. The police have rescued all three girls. It is being said that the accused have links with other states as well.
Teenagers were roaming in ISBT
According to information received from the police, on Wednesday, ISBT police received information that three girls who appear to have come from another state were roaming in the ISBT area in a suspicious condition. They were saying that someone had brought them to Dehradun for sale. Considering the seriousness of the information, the police brought the three girls to the police post and called the Anti Human Trafficking Unit and Child Line team to the ISBT post.
They were doing a deal for 11 lakhs
When the police interrogated the three girls, it was found that some people had brought them from Delhi to Dehradun by luring them with a job. After which they left them with a woman and a man in a flat in Dehradun. At night, the three girls heard the woman and another man present in the house talking to the people who had brought them, about buying and selling them for 11 lakh rupees. The girls told that another girl was already present there. Who told them that the accused traffic girls and make them do bad things.
The girls ran away from the flat at night
On hearing this, the girls got scared. In the darkness of the night, the girls jumped down from the balcony with the help of a bedsheet and ran away from there. After getting the information, the police officers raided a flat in Ved City Colony in Pathribag, the place told by the girls. From where the police detained a woman and a man. During interrogation, Bala (48) wife of Satpal Yadav resident of Pathribag and Digvijay (45) resident of Amroha told that they had brought the three girls from Ghaziabad by luring them with a job to sell them.
Search for other accused continues
The police has registered a case against both the accused. During interrogation of the accused, the police got information that the gang has links with other states as well. After which the police is gathering information from other states as well. Teams have been sent to other states to arrest other members of the gang. It is expected that other accused will be arrested soon.
