Renowned industrialist Ratan Tata is no more, he breathed his last at Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital

Famous industrialist Ratan Tata is no more. He breathed his last on Wednesday at the age of 86 in Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital. He was admitted to the hospital a few days ago. He was admitted in the ICU. Three days ago, the news of his death had come out, but later he himself denied it. He had told through a social media post that he was absolutely fit and fine. Personalities from politics, industry and film world condoled his death.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed deep grief over the demise of Ratan Tata. PM Modi wrote, Ratan Tata was a brilliant business leader, kind and extraordinary human being. He provided stable leadership to one of India’s oldest and most prestigious business houses. His contribution went far beyond the boardroom. His humility, kindness and unwavering commitment to improving our society made him a beloved of many. One of the most unique aspects of Ratan Tata was his passion to dream big and achieve it. He was at the forefront of supporting some issues like education, health, cleanliness, animal welfare.

Ratan Tata, the chairman of Tata Sons, was named Ratan Naval Tata. Born on 28 December 1937 in Mumbai, Ratan Tata was the son of Naval Tata and Sooni Commissariat. They were separated when Ratan Tata was 10 years old. He was then formally adopted by his grandmother Navajbai Tata through the JN Petit Parsi Orphanage. Ratan Tata was raised with his stepbrother Noel Tata (son of Naval Tata and Simone Tata).

Ratan Tata was as famous an industrialist as he was a philanthropist. During his tenure, the Tata Group touched new heights every day. Today, Tata’s influence is visible in various fields of life, from tea to Jaguar Land Rover cars and from making salt to flying ships and running a group of hotels.

The life of Ratan Tata, who was awarded Padma Vibhushan and Padma Bhushan, has been a source of inspiration for everyone. He used to say, I do not believe in taking the right decision. I take decisions and then make them right. Power and money are not my two main interests.
