Mallikarjun Kharge replied to PM Modi, listed BJP’s flaws in 7 points
There is a rift between Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge and PM Narendra Modi. PM Modi gave a befitting reply to Mallikarjun Kharge’s criticism and said that the lies of Congress have been exposed. Now again on Friday, Mallikarjun Kharge has again attacked PM Modi. He tweeted on social media that lies, deceit, fraud, loot and propaganda are the 5 adjectives that best define the government.
He said that your beating the drum about the 100-day plan was a cheap PR stunt! Kharge said that on May 16, 2024, you also claimed that you have taken inputs from more than 20 lakh people for the roadmap of 2047. The RTI filed in the PMO exposed your lies and refused to give detailed information.
He said that in BJP, ‘B’ means betrayal, while ‘J’ means Jumla. He listed the flaws of BJP in seven points.

1. Promise of 2 crore jobs every year?
He questioned why the unemployment rate of the country is at a 45-year high? Why is there a stampede wherever there are vacancies for a handful of jobs? Who is responsible for 70 paper leaks in 7 years? Who snatched 5 lakh government jobs by selling stake in PSU?
2. Enough of inflation?
He questioned why domestic savings have reached a 50-year low? Why did the price of a common thali increase by 52% last year? Top – Tomato prices increased by 247%, potato prices by 180% and onion prices by 60%? Who imposed GST on essential food items like milk, curd, flour, pulses?
3. What happened to Achche Din?
Kharge alleged that the rupee is at an all-time low. Is it in the ICU or in the Margdarshak Mandal? Your government has borrowed 150 lakh+ crores in the last 10 years, which is a debt of 1.5 lakhs on every Indian. He said that economic inequality is at a 100-year high. The average growth in the last decade is less than 6%, while it was 8% during the UPA. Private investment is at a 20-year low, while the average growth in manufacturing in the last decade is just 3.1%, while it was 7.85 during the Congress-UPA, which defies the tall claims of ‘Make in India’!
4. What happened to developed India?
Kharge questioned that everything you claim to have built is collapsing like a pack of cards – you inaugurated the statue of Shivaji in Maharashtra, water drips from the roof of Delhi airport, Ram temple in Ayodhya and cracks have developed in Atal Setu. Bridge collapsed in Gujarat (Morbi), while new bridges are common in Bihar! There have been countless rail accidents, while ministers are busy in REEL PR!
5. What happened to Na Khaunga, Na Khane Doonga?
He attacked saying that we have only two words for you – Modani mega scam and SEBI chairperson. Nirav Modi, Mehul Choksi, Vijay Mallya and others were helped to flee after looting thousands of crores!
6. What happened to Main Desh Nahi Jhukne Doonga?
Kharge said that India ranks 105 (2024) in Global Hunger Index, while its rank in UN Human Development Index is 134 and Global Gender Gap Index is 129. Clean chit to China after Galwan, red carpet for Chinese investment and relations with every neighbouring country are deteriorating.
7. What happened to Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas and Jai Kisan, Jai Jawan?
He said crimes against SCs increased by 46%, while crimes against STs increased by 48%. According to NCRB, crimes against SC/ST women and children saw a 1.7 times increase in 2022 as compared to 2014. Casual/contract hiring, taking away government jobs from SC, ST, OBC and EWS communities, has increased by 91%.
He said doubling farmers’ income by 2022 has turned out to be a gimmick. Legal guarantee for MSP denied. He said Modi’s guarantee is a cruel joke on 140 crore Indians!
