Uttarakhand / Nainital: Big road accident on Diwali: Two cars collide, mother and son die, three injured

A major road accident has taken place on the Haldwani-Kaladhungi road on the occasion of Diwali. A mother and son travelling in an Alto died on the spot in a fierce collision between two cars. The collision was so terrible that both the cars were badly damaged.

Kamlesh Singh (40) and his mother Bhavna Singh (60) died in the accident. Kamlesh’s wife is also seriously injured. Apart from this, a woman and a man travelling in the Volkswagen car are also injured. All the injured have been admitted to Sushila Tiwari Hospital, where they are undergoing treatment.

According to the information, the Alto car was coming from Kaladhungi towards Haldwani, while the Volkswagen was going from Haldwani to Kaladhungi. In the initial investigation, negligence and high speed are being said to be the cause of the accident. The police have taken both the bodies into custody and sent them for post-mortem.
