Secretary Srinivas Katikithala said that this laboratory will be helpful in seismic testing. Secretary Srinivas said that this is a unique and state-of-the-art testing facility in India. In foreign countries, buildings are tested on this technology. He said that tests can be done up to the height of a four-storey building.
In this way, full-scale printing of buildings will be done using 3D printers. Along with this, an effort will be made to bring technology with safety, climate resilient features at an affordable cost to the common man.
