Uttar Pradesh / Shahjahanpur: Man absconded after a dispute at a medical store, angry woman set his bike on fire
On Friday morning, a woman of about 30 years of age went to a medical store near Keruganj in the Chowk Kotwali area of Shahjahanpur in Uttar Pradesh to get medicine. While getting the medicine, the woman was talking to the medical store operator. Just then, a person from a special community also reached the same medical store on a bike to get medicine. His age is said to be around 50 years.
While getting the medicine, a dispute broke out between the woman and the person from the special community over something. It is being told that the accused made lewd comments about the woman. The dispute escalated further and a fight also broke out between the two. Meanwhile, some people reached in support of the woman. Seeing himself surrounded, the accused left the bike and fled from the spot.
The angry woman set fire to the bike of the accused parked outside the Pakar police station. Within a short time, flames started coming out of the bike. After this, there was an atmosphere of chaos at the spot. As soon as the information was received, the police and fire department team reached the spot. The fire department extinguished the fire in the bike. By then the bike had completely burnt to ashes. The police have taken the bike into their custody. The woman has reached the police station. The police have started the search for the accused after interrogation.
SP City Sanjay Kumar said that there was a dispute over buying medicine at the medical store. After that, information about some scuffle has also come to light. Further action will be taken on the complaint of the victim.
