Reservation list of municipal bodies released in Uttarakhand, Rishikesh got SC and Haridwar got female OBC

The list of reservations in Municipal Corporations, Municipal Councils, Nagar Panchayats has been released in Uttarakhand. This time a big change has been made in the reserved seats. Rishikesh Municipal Corporation has been given to SC. On the other hand, if we talk about Dehradun Municipal Corporation, it has been kept general i.e. unreserved.

Apart from this, Haridwar Municipal Corporation has been given to OBC women. Municipal Corporation Roorkee women, Municipal Corporation Kotdwar unreserved, Municipal Corporation Srinagar also unreserved, Municipal Corporation Rudrapur unreserved, Municipal Corporation Kashipur unreserved, Municipal Corporation Haldwani OBC, Municipal Corporation Pithoragarh women and Municipal Corporation Almora also given to women. Let us tell you that there are a total of 11 municipal corporations in Uttarakhand. Out of which one seat has been given to ST. Whereas four seats have been given to women.

Now the final notification will be issued on 15th December. Along with this, the final notification of Mayor Nagar Panchayat and Nagar Palika will be issued soon.
