Modi government has been involved in Buch’s corruption: Congress

Congress has said that the Mumbai court has also confirmed the corruption of Madhabi Puri Buch, former head of Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), and now it is clear that along with Madhabi Buch, the Modi government has also committed massive corruption, so this matter should be investigated on a large scale.
Congress said in a post on social media X, “The special court of Mumbai has ordered the Anti Corruption Bureau to register a case against Madhabi Buch. The court has also directed to register an FIR against many other SEBI officials along with Mrs. Buch. The court has said in its order that serious evidence exists in the case of fraud and corruption in the stock market.”
The party said, “It is alleged that SEBI allowed listing of a company which failed to meet the standards. This decision of SEBI led to market manipulation and investors suffered losses. It is also alleged that there was collusion between SEBI and many corporate entities due to which insider trading took place and money was embezzled.”
In a social media post, the Congress said, “Earlier too, Madhabi Puri Buch was accused that she and her husband Dhawal Buch were investors in offshore funds linked to the Adani Group. The Buch couple had stakes in offshore funds in Bermuda and Mauritius, which were linked to Adani’s brother Vinod Adani. While working in SEBI, Mrs. Buch had stakes in the consulting firm ‘Agora Partners’, but she did not disclose these investments.”
The Congress said that now it is clear that Madhavi Puri Buch indulged in massive corruption while being the SEBI chief and the Modi government is also involved in it. That is why, we demand that this corruption case be investigated impartially and strict action be taken against whoever is guilty. After the court’s order, we hope that the face and truth of the people involved in this corruption will be revealed to the whole country.
