Less oil, less sugar, less salt; ‘Fit Uttarakhand’ launched in Uttarakhand

The Uttarakhand government has come forward to realize the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s healthy India, strong India. To fulfill the resolution of PM Modi, the Dhami government of Uttarakhand has launched the ‘Fit Uttarakhand’ campaign. Under this campaign, citizens will be encouraged to adopt a balanced diet, regular exercise and a healthy lifestyle.

‘Fit Uttarakhand’ launched in Uttarakhand

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has taken another big step towards a healthy Uttarakhand and announced the effective implementation of the ‘Eat Right India Abhiyan’ run by the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI). The Chief Minister has directed that this campaign should be implemented expeditiously. Nodal officers have been deployed for this.

Let us tell you that for the campaign, along with the public representatives, all the secretaries, district magistrates, department heads and other concerned officers will work in coordination. Also, keeping in mind the changing lifestyle, the general public is being encouraged to consume less oil, less sugar and less salt under the campaign.

Preparation to make Eat Right Campus from educational institutions to jail campuses

On the instructions of the CM, the government has started working to make the campaign successful. At present, the Secretariat Complex, Sudhowala Jail, Petroleum University have been certified under the Eat Right Campaign. Apart from this, other universities, colleges, hospitals, medical colleges and jail campuses have been made eligible for Eat Right Campus and Eat Right School certification.
