Uttarakhand: Dhami government’s action against illegal continues, 97 madrasas in Uttarakhand were renewed after recognition

97 madrasas have been recognized and renewed in Uttarakhand. Out of these, 51 new madrasas have been recognized. After about five years, madrasas have been recognized and renewed in Uttarakhand.
The madrasa operators have expressed their gratitude to the Dhami government and the Madrasa Board. There are 466 madrasas in the state. On Saturday, the Madrasa Board organized a program in the conference hall of the office located in Bhagat Singh Colony and distributed certificates to them.
These include most of the madrasas of Dehradun, Haridwar, Nainital, US Nagar. With the recognition, many madrasas which were sealed in the past days will also get relief. Board Chairman and Deputy Registrar Ubedullah Ansari distributed the certificates.
During this, a large number of madrasa operators including Haroon Rasheed, Farah Azim, Khurshid Ahmed, Vijay, Rameez etc. were present.
Madrasa students have to be brought into the mainstream
Madrasa Board Chairman Mufti Shamoon Qasmi said that NCERT syllabus has been implemented in madrasas. The issue of equivalence of degrees will be resolved soon. The government wants to bring madrasa students into the mainstream.
