It is believed that during his stay in Delhi, the Chief Minister may hold final rounds of discussions with the central leaders of the party regarding cabinet expansion.
Chief Minister Dhami is going to Odisha on Tuesday and will return to Delhi in the afternoon. He will rest at Uttarakhand Sadan in Delhi. In view of his Delhi visit, discussions have started again in the political corridors regarding cabinet expansion and reshuffle.
In fact, in the changed circumstances, expansion of the cabinet has become necessary. At present, there are only seven ministers including the Chief Minister. In such a situation, the workload has also increased.
Recently, during his Delhi visit, the Chief Minister met BJP’s National General Secretary Organization BL Santosh, National General Secretary and Uttarakhand in-charge Dushyant Kumar Gautam and other leaders.
Not only this, BJP’s state president Mahendra Bhatt had also indicated that the time is right for cabinet expansion and it is certain to happen. This had increased the political heat. Some MLAs also rushed to Delhi. It is a different matter that then this topic was postponed in view of the festival of Holi.
Now that the Chief Minister is reaching Delhi again, the discussion about cabinet expansion has started intensifying. It is believed that during his Delhi visit, Chief Minister Dhami can meet the central leaders of the party and hold final round of discussions regarding cabinet expansion.
On the other hand, BJP’s state president Mahendra Bhatt, who was present in Delhi, indicated when contacted that the cabinet could be expanded during Navratri.
