Reiterating the resolve to make Uttarakhand the best film destination in the country, CM Pushkar Singh Dhami said that the state government is very serious about this matter and is working with a solid strategy. CM Dhami said that recently our government has also made a provision to give grants to films and web series released on OTT platforms. Arrangements have been made to give grants to films and web series released on Netflix, Amazon Prime, Sony Live, Zee and Jio Hotstar.

Congratulating the entire team including the producer-director for the success of the film, CM Dhami said that the state government is committed to the development of every sector related to film production. Along with promoting new direct employment activities in the state through film production, tourism of the state is also getting new strength.

CM Dhami said that with the help of the Tourism Department, the process of identifying new shooting locations and promoting them for shooting has started, so that relatively less famous tourist places of Uttarakhand can also be promoted through films.

CM Dhami said that every possible help will be given for shooting films in Uttarakhand. The state government has implemented the new Film Policy-2024, which has made it even easier to make films here. Filmmakers are liking Uttarakhand for shooting films. Shooting is being allowed under the single window system, making the process faster and simpler. Apart from this, films in Hindi and languages ​​​​included in the 8th Schedule of the Constitution are being given a grant of 30 percent of the expenditure amount in Uttarakhand or up to a maximum of Rs 3 crore. Big budget (more than Rs 50 crore) and foreign films also get a grant of 30 percent of the expenditure in the state or up to a maximum of Rs 3 crore. This scheme is not only encouraging films but also promoting tourism in the state. A maximum grant of Rs 2 crore of the amount spent in the state is being given for films in regional languages ​​of the state. CM Dhami said that there are many beautiful destinations for shooting in Uttarakhand. The aim of the government is to make the state a hub of film production by providing better facilities to the film industry. CM Dhami said that the state has a very good environment for filming. The filmmakers got full support from the public as well as government departments for shooting films. There are many enchanting destinations for shooting films in Uttarakhand. There are many places with abundant natural beauty in the mountains. Every destination in the state is suitable for filming. There are many attractive places like Adi Kailash, Chakrata and Mana in Uttarakhand. Seeing the natural beauty of Uttarakhand, filmmakers from all over the country are coming to the state for film shooting. Seeing the possibilities of filming here, the state government is constantly moving forward in this direction. So far more than 200 films have been shot in Uttarakhand. The new film policy is promoting films in the state. Along with Bollywood, films based on local dialects are also being promoted. On this occasion, Mayor Dehradun Saurabh Thapliyal and the entire team of the film along with a large number of spectators were present.
