‘CAA-like tactics in Murshidabad violence…’ What kind of conspiracy is this in West Bengal, intelligence agencies exposed the entire plan

Shocking revelations are being made about the violence that took place in Murshidabad over the new Waqf law in West Bengal. At least three people have died and many have been injured in this violence. West Bengal is once again becoming the center of activities of the Islamic terrorist organization Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB). According to intelligence agencies, JMB has started reactivating its sleeper modules in seven border districts of the state, in which youth are being recruited from illegal madrassas.
Sources said, ‘The Bangladesh border is the gateway for radicalism. They are regrouping in Murshidabad and Malda.’ He said, ‘They are using the same tactics as were used during the 2019 anti-CAA riots.’ He said, ‘JMB recruits are being radicalized in unrecognized madrassas and trained in camps across the border.’
Calcutta High Court’s strictness
Sources alleged that the situation worsened due to the inaction of the state government and the police administration. He said, ‘Attacks were made on the properties of the Hindu community, while these incidents were ignored with the connivance of the state police and the ruling TMC.’
Seeing the gravity of the situation, the Calcutta High Court intervened and ordered the Center to deploy central forces in Murshidabad and other violence-affected areas. After this, about eight companies of the Border Security Force (BSF) along with about 1,000 policemen have been deployed in Murshidabad district. Officials from DG level to Additional SP have been deployed in the areas where violent clashes have taken place. Government sources said that along with prohibitory orders and internet shutdown in Murshidabad, more than 150 arrests have been made.
Political equation and fear of instability
Given the 30% Muslim vote bank in the state and the 2026 assembly elections, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s silence is being seen as a vote bank political strategy.
The targeting of Hindus in the Waqf protest, provocative slogans and communal violence have given rise to a dangerous social and political equation, in which the fear of administrative failure and cross-border threat is deepening.
