The work of expansion of the women’s hospital is going on in the middle of the city. A new building is being constructed for the women’s hospital at a cost of about 30 crores, but questions are being raised on the quality of the building under construction. Former Union Minister and Nainital MP Ajay Bhatt arrived on Wednesday for a surprise inspection of the building under construction of the women’s hospital. MP Ajay Bhatt said that complaints were being received that the work of the hospital has been going on for a long time and the construction work is getting delayed. Due to which people coming to the hospital are facing a lot of problems.

During the inspection, it was found that the construction work is not being done at the speed at which it should be done. He said that the hospital is to be constructed at a cost of about 30 crores, under which 14 crores have been released and 16 crores more are to be released, for this, talks will be held with the Health Secretary for the release of the budget soon. During this, MP Ajay Bhatt tried to check the bricks being laid during the construction by taking them in his hands, the brick broke into two pieces on collision. On which he has asked the officials to investigate. He said that he is not a technical expert, the engineers will investigate it. During this, he also expressed displeasure over the delay in the construction work and instructed to speed up the construction work.
