Asphalt peeling off by hand

A case of poor construction work has come to light on the Daniya-Arasulfad motor road. The quality of asphalt on the 28 km long road being built under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana is so poor that the asphalt is peeling off by hand. On the plight of the road, the former MLA of the area and former Assembly Speaker Govind Singh Kunjwal reached the spot and inspected the road. During this, the MLA along with the local villagers raised slogans against the government and administration.

Former MLA warned of agitation

Kunjwal said that the asphalt has not been done according to the width and thickness of the road. Asphalt has been laid directly on the soil, and the asphalt is coming off by hand, which directly points to negligence and corruption. The former MLA said that this kind of working system is damaging the image of the government. Kunjwal warned the departmental officials and said that if the road quality is not checked and repair work is not done soon, then he will protest with the villagers.
