Uttarakhand / Dehradun: The car hit a vehicle parked on the roadside, an old man died after being hit by it

A tragic accident took place on Thursday in Jolly Grant, Dehradun. On the Bhaniyawala-Rishikesh main road between Himalayan and Durga Chowk, a car driver hit another car parked on the roadside. Due to the collision, the parked car was dragged for about fifty meters. An old woman died after being hit by the dragging car.

According to the information, the deceased old woman Lakshmi Gunsola (65) lived near Durga Chowk. She was waiting for a bus to attend a wedding ceremony in Garhwal. Meanwhile, the old woman was suddenly hit by a car and came under its grip. After hitting her, the driver fled from the spot. On receiving the information, the police station reached the spot. The old woman was taken to the hospital. Where the doctors declared her dead.

The people in the car were shopping in the shop after parking the car. Just then a speeding car coming from Rishikesh hit the car parked in front. On receiving the information, Jolly Grant police reached the spot. The work of watching CCTV was started.
