The police has arrested the accused who broke the lock of a school located in Dobhalwala area of Dehradun and committed theft. The police has also recovered the stolen goods from the possession of the accused.
The clever thief arrested in the school
The manager of the school under Kotwali Nagar area, Surendra Singh Bisht, had given a complaint in the police station that an unknown person broke the lock of the school and stole many items including laptop, UPS, harmonium, cylinder. The police registered a case against the unknown person and started searching for the accused. On April 18, the police arrested Vivek Chandel, son of Inder, resident of Dehradun, from near Green Valley.
The accused has also gone to jail in the past
During interrogation, he confessed his crime. The police has also recovered the stolen goods from the possession of the accused. Police investigation also revealed that Vivek has also gone to jail in many cases of theft in the past. At present, the police is interrogating the accused thoroughly and trying to find out whether he is associated with any gang or not.
