Uttarakhand: Former CM Harda inspected the damaged Tanakpur-Sitaganj road, raised questions on the slow pace of construction work

Former Chief Minister Harish Rawat conducted a surprise inspection of the damaged Tanakpur-Sitapur road near Gaulapul in Haldwani. During this, he expressed displeasure over the slow pace of road construction work and raised questions on the working style of the district administration.

It is worth noting that last year, due to heavy rains, a large part of the road near Gaulapul was washed away. Due to this, there is a problem of traffic in areas like Gaulapar, Sitapur and Tanakpur. Now the PWD is trying to build a road from the other side, for which more than 100 Shisham trees have also been cut.
Raised questions on the slow pace of construction work
Former Chief Minister Harish Rawat conducted a surprise inspection of the Tanakpur-Sitapur road on Monday. During this, Harda said that if the road is not repaired before the rains, the situation may become even more dire in the coming monsoon and many areas may lose connectivity completely. He also talked about talking to the Chief Minister of the state Pushkar Singh Dhami on this issue.
Harish Rawat set out on the Sanskriti Darshan Yatra
Harish Rawat has started the Sanskriti Darshan Yatra from today. Harda, while attacking the BJP, said that he has set out to expose the lies of the BJP on the pretext of visiting the Golujew temple in Champawat. He alleged that the BJP gained power in the 2017 and 2022 elections with the help of lies and spread confusion in the state on issues like Muslim University. Terming his journey as ‘Sanskritik Darshan Yatra’, Harish Rawat said that he will make the people of Kali Kumaon region aware of the lies of the BJP.
